Beam Clamp Selection Guide
A practical checklist for procurement teams, distributors and project buyers specifying beam clamps for industrial applications.

BUYER PRINCIPLE
Make the quoted clamp and the required clamp the same item.
Beam clamps are often compared by name or image alone. A useful RFQ instead records the beam geometry, connection, application, finish, quantity and documents needed for review. This gives every supplier the same basis for a technically comparable offer.
FIVE CHECKPOINTS
From beam geometry to shipping mark.
Use this sequence before comparing quotations or releasing a purchase order.
1. Start with the beam and connection geometry+
State the beam flange width and thickness, the required jaw opening or adjustment range, and the connection type. Include the thread, suspension point or other interface required by the installation. A visually similar clamp can have a different fit range or connection detail.
2. Describe the intended application+
Identify whether the clamp is for hoist suspension, temporary installation, maintenance work, material handling or another industrial connection. State the load direction, operating environment and any project-specific restriction so the correct model can be reviewed against the application.
3. Confirm the exact model requirement before price comparison+
Request the relevant dimensions, marking requirement, material or finish and applicable standard with the quotation. The quoted item, approved item and delivered item should use the same written description. Final suitability is confirmed for the selected model and order requirement.
4. Agree the inspection scope before packing+
Depending on the selected model and purchase requirement, buyers may request visual condition, dimensions, connecting-part fit, marking, finish, quantity and specified documentation to be reviewed before packing. Confirm the agreed checks in the purchase order rather than relying on a general statement.
5. Specify export packing and identification+
Confirm inner packing, carton or case limits, labels, pallet requirement and destination marks before production. Clear line identification is particularly useful when beam clamps are consolidated with shackles, wire-rope fittings or other rigging hardware in one shipment.

BUYER FAQ
Before requesting a quotation.
What should I send for a beam clamp quotation?+
Send the required pattern or reference image, beam flange dimensions, connection or thread requirement, intended application, quantity, finish, destination and any standard or documentation requirement.
Can ZECH help compare a beam clamp with an existing sample or drawing?+
Yes. Send the drawing, catalog reference or clear images together with the relevant dimensions and intended use. ZECH can review the requirement before issuing an order-specific quotation.
Are universal WLL, stock or lead-time promises published on this page?+
No. These depend on the confirmed model, application, finish, quantity, packaging and order scope. Final technical and commercial terms are confirmed against the selected order.
